We were all moved at the event when Jasper, who’s 6 and 10/12th years old (and yes, that is what he’ll tell you if you ask him his age), made an $0.80 donation. The Silent Auction featured more than 80 items. The 50+ bottles of wine for the Wall of Wine sold out within the first 45 minutes of the event. In the midst of bad news around our planet there is some good news to revel in. The people of Bella Vista barrio in the hills of Roatan came together with Construction Volunteers in spectacular fashion this April to work on a couple big projects that have had an incredible impact on the people living there. This and many more accomplishments will be shared at our 2018 Funding event! Friday, September 21, 2018 Club Room, Williams Arena, U of M More details to come, but please set aside that evening to celebrate with us.

On October 1, 2016, Construction Volunteers held its third annual fundraiser. Over 70 attended the event. More than 100 Silent Auction items were sold and the Wall of Wine sold out, raising $330 outside of the Silent Auction. Construction Volunteers Board of Directors want to thank everyone who attended and gave generously to raise funds to enhance the lives of the people of Roatan, Honduras.

We've got an exciting evening planned with many great silent-auction items available. If you've been to one of our past events, you know the variety of items available is quite varied and very reasonably priced. If you're unable to attend, consider making a donation today to help provide opportunities for donors and volunteers to partner with residents of impoverished global areas to build homes, create safer infrastructure, and deliver community outreach to realize a better quality of life.
